Jolene Cady, LPC

Independent Contractor Therapist

I provide professional counseling in a warm, safe environment. I utilize a variety of approaches, techniques and strategies that are tailored for the treatment of each client’s individual needs and goals. My practical view of the function of counseling is as a journey of self-exploration by the client, meant to increase his/her level of self-understanding and self-awareness. I, as counselor, act as the guide or facilitator of this journey. I believe every person has a unique God-given purpose, and my counseling approach is tailored to each unique individual.

I believe most problems facing people today can be linked back to our beliefs because what we believe is critical, and therefore my counseling philosophy uses a cognitive approach to therapy. This means I believe I can create an environment where my clients can work towards growth and change.

Once the client feels safe, through our work together, you will be able to recognize and understand behaviors and interpersonal interactions that have been self-defeating in the past. Together we will identify these patterns, increase self-awareness, and help you develop new, more effective, strategies to manage your life. I look forward to working with you.
